Tuition & Policies
Tuition at Academy of Dance Arts is simple: a $25 annual registration fee per family, then monthly tuition based on how many hours a week your dancer takes — from $53 a month for a 30-minute class. Pay monthly by auto-draft, or save 5% by paying the season in full.

Full rate table
Rates are per family for the total class time per week — add up all of your dancer's classes (or all of your dancers' classes) to find your row. September is a partial month; October through May is the monthly rate. All rates are based on a 32-week season.
Registration fee: $25 per family, per year, added to the September payment.

The fine print, in plain English
How tuition is calculated
Tuition is based on the total number of class hours your dancer takes each week, not the number of classes — so a dancer in a 45-minute ballet class and a 45-minute jazz class pays the 1½-hour rate. All rates are based on a 32-week season (September through May).
September is a partial month
Classes begin September 21, so September is billed as a partial payment (the smaller amount in the table). From October through May you choose the payment option that works for your family: monthly auto-draft, or the year paid in full.
Registration fee
A $25 registration fee is due once per family, per season, and is added to your September payment. It reserves your dancer's place in class at a favorable time — spots are first come, first served.
Pay-in-full discount
Families who pay the full season's tuition before the first class in September receive a 5% discount.
Automatic payments
Auto-charge (MasterCard or Visa) is required for monthly tuition. Costume deposits (charged December 1, 2026) and balances (charged April 6, 2027) can be auto-charged as well — you choose at registration.
Refunds & credits
Tuition is non-refundable, and no credits are issued for missed classes. Please reach out to the studio about make-up options if your dancer misses a class.
Costumes & recital
Each class performs in the June recital at the Germantown Performing Arts Center. Costume costs are separate from tuition, billed as a deposit in December and a balance in April. Recital tickets are sold online through the PAC beginning in May.
Dancewear
Class attire and shoes follow our dress code and are available in the ADA dance boutique right at the studio — leotards, tights, shoes and ADA logo gear.
