Alex Seager
In June of 2019, she lived in Brazil for a month while studying African influence in Brazilian art and culture; in the spring of 2019 and the summer of 2018, she journeyed to London, England and Los Angeles, California respectively to assist The London Spring Tour and The Hollywood Summer Tour, both training programs created by Menina Fortunato.

She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Contemporary Performance and Choreography, as well as a minor in Film, Animation, & New Genres from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee. During her time as an undergrad, she had gotten the chance to collaborate and perform in the works of many wonderful artists----including Dani Kuepper, Emma Draves, Maria Gillespie, and Daniel Burkholder. From the summer of 2019 through her graduation, she had also worked as a research student under the direction of Simone Ferro, conducting movement practices and artistic outreach throughout Milwaukee. Currently, she performs regularly as a main company member of Waterstreet Dance Milwaukee, having traveled to showcase repertoire in cities such as San Francisco, CA, New York, NY, St. Louis, MO, Madison, WI, Milwaukee, WI, and Chicago, IL. Her drive for artistic exploration has taken her beyond the United States.
