The power of storytelling with movement is a gift that improves lives both on and off the stage.
Since the age of four, Jacquelin Stern excelled at the art of dance. Her education at the Academy of Dance Arts honed her natural talents, where she quickly emerged as an advanced student. After completing her dance education, she possessed more than 13 years of experience in Ballet and Tap, 22 years of Jazz, and 8 years of Hip-Hop.
In her continued pursuit of dance, Jacquelin sought every opportunity to reach new levels of skill. She started by attending multiple CNADM Chicago Conventions and workshops in Orlando, Florida. These investments led to a prestigious opportunity to dance with a select few on the Magic Kingdom's main entertainment stage at the world's top tourist destination: Walt Disney World. But her journey was only beginning. Jacquelin’s ambition led her to audition for the Milwaukee Bucks NBA dance team, where she was chosen out of hundreds of applicants to join the Energee! Dance Team.
The following years she auditioned and carried on with MBD, the Milwaukee Bucks Dancers. As an Ambassador for The Milwaukee Bucks NBA team, she performed in more than 100 games and shared her gifts off the court at local charity events. She was also chosen by the NBA to lead an entertainment showcase in London, England. During this time, Jacquelin continued to seek opportunities to learn from the best. She was taught by professional dancers who performed with music legends like Mariah Carey, Bon Jovi, Eminem, and more. In 2015, she performed alongside Vanilla Ice and DMC of Run DMC the following year.
Throughout her journey, Jacquelin continued to share her skills and passion to learn for 10 years at the Academy of Dance Arts. She has experience instructing all ages across many styles of dance, specializing in Jazz and Hip-Hop. Today, she holds the title of Assistant Director and Competition Company Coordinator, where she is deeply involved in the ongoing success of the studio. However, Jacquelin’s passion will always be dance and education. She believes teaching is the key to keeping the art of dance alive. The power of storytelling with movement is a gift that improves lives both on and off the stage. And to Jacquelin, it's a special calling to share that gift and passion with others.
