Anna Haney
Anna Haney has been dancing for 30 years.  She has a M.F.A in Performance Dance from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, M.A. in Education from Alverno College, B.A. in Dance and B.S. in Education (1-8) with a minor in English from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and K-12 Dance Education Certification from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.  Anna currently an Assistant Professor of Dance and head of the dance track at Alverno College.  Prior, she taught on dance faculty at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, at her alma mater Milwaukee High School of the Arts, Gila Ridge High School in Yuma Arizona, Milwaukee’s Lincoln Middle School of the Arts and at the Elementary School for Arts and Academics in Sheboygan, Wisconsin.  Anna believes that dance is communication in the most authentic form.  It is a forum in which people may embody and share their inner most emotions.  Through its physicality and emotional connectivity, it allows for the development and knowledge of oneself.  Dance challenges one to continually expand and cultivate their aesthetics, abilities and mindset.  As a dancer, choreographer and educator, she works to eternally explore.
